Evening of January 8, 2021 the Bagumbayan Pumping Station I has already been commissioned and interconnected thereafter.
The NEW Bagumbayan Pumping Station has a well capacity of 50 LPS at +/- 80 PSI at source. This pumping station will be the supplementary source for all of the Poblacion barangays of Baao and the elevated barangays as well. The latest PSI reading at the BWD Business Complex at La Medalla was 30 PSI at around 6AM and 60 PSI in the afternoon. Thus, this pumping station will greatly augment the needed supply for the aforementioned barangays.
The commissioning stage will take up until the commencement of the pipe laying activities both for the transmission and distribution lines. Right now, priority pipelines activities along San Ramon is on-going until it reaches its interconnecting point at the bridge in front of Angena Trading.
Furthermore, even if we are experiencing a much better supply pressure, we still advise our valued concessionaires to store water in safe and clean containers for emergency or domestic use until the commissioning stage is done.
Normal operation will be restored without further announcement.
